The Mission of Community Hospital Long Beach Foundation (CHLBF):
To provide financial support to nonprofit healthcare-related organizations that will ensure the best possible patient services and health programs in our community. The Foundation Board ensures that all funds are managed prudently and dispersed in keeping with the wishes of our donors.

To ensure greater Long Beach continues to be distinguished by compassionate care, exceptional physicians, community relations and leading technology that provides the best inpatient and outpatient health care services in the region.
Founded in 1972 by long-time supporter Jess Grundy, the CHLB Foundation has a long and prestigious tradition of supporting CHLB’s mission of improving the health and well-being of individuals, families and our communities through innovation and the pursuit of excellence.
